
The University of Constantine 1, Frères Mentouri (UC1) in collaboration with the Territory Planning Research Center (CRAT) and various partners of the PRIMA project (BENEFIT-Med), with support from several institutional stakeholders, includin the Romanian Society of Applied Geophysics and University of Bucharest is organizing on the occasion of : the 11th Algerian-Romanian International Scientific Days, the 2nd International Seminar on “Water, Climate Change, Agriculture, and Territorial Development.” This four-day event will take place from November 3 to 6, 2025,at the University of Constantine 1, Frères Mentouri (UC1), Algeria. The seminar aims to bring together experts, researchers, policymakers, and development actors to exchange knowledge and share best practices. The focus will be on sustainable water management, climate change adaptation, agricultural resilience, and territorial development, with the overarching objective of fostering integrated strategies that support sustainable regional development in areas affected by climate change. The program includes 20 plenary sessions covering a broad spectrum of issues in geography, agronomy, and territorial planning, approached through a modern, interdisciplinary perspective. Organized by the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations (UC1) and CRAT. The event benefits from the collaboration of international academic institutions from over 35 countries.
